Status change: Married.

Since I last "blogged," quite a few changes have taken place. First of all, I'm married. On May 29, 2011, Andrew and I said "I do" in front of 200 and some people. I can barely remember specifics - the weeks and months leading up to that day were such a whirl wind of activity. Once our wedding day arrived, it seemed ridiculous that it was over in just a few hours. However, that was it. A rushed, beautiful wedding day. But, time didn't stop flying then. After spending a week in Jamaica for our honeymoon followed by two weeks in Florida for Andrew's reserve duty, we came back in time to help Sarah and Josh prepare for their big day. Another week of wedding preparation led to July 9, 2011, when Josh and Sarah entered marital bliss. Now they are back from their honeymoon packing to move. Oh, and Faith & Jared just celebrated their 2nd anniversary.

After these months of madness, I'm finally getting a chance to look at pictures for the FIRST TIME. It is bittersweet looking at the hundreds of photographs I snapped because they're good memories, but memories... past. gone. never happening again.

When did we all grow up and get old enough to get married!!!? When did Hope become a teenager instead of that fuzzy headed baby?

  1. I love this picture! I plan to get it printed and framed. Can you tell me how? And, yeah, tell me about how fast time goes!

  2. Maybe we should have weddings like the people of India-a WEEK long celebration! It does seem like a lot of work for one day:0 Love this picture! You girls have grown into beauties!

  3. Anna, I just love the picture of you and your sisters!! Yes amazing experiences quickly turn to only a sweet memory. Remember the faintest ink is better than the best memory (or something like that?) Anyway, write it ALL down! Journals are great and your kids will love to read it.

    Yesterday is history.
    Tomorrow is a mystery.
Today is a gift, that's why it's called the present.
