APS

Andrew and I attended a beautiful wedding the other day. The reception was next to the river under a tent decorated with all sorts of festive decor (such as the hanging lanterns pictured in the photographs below). Out of all the activities we have done together, one of my favorite things to do with Andrew is attend weddings because it's a whole new experience for me. Instead of being a wall flower, Andrew has convinced me (charmingly) to participate in conversations with strangers and meet new people. He has a lot of great friends, which attests to his character. Also, gradually, we've made it out onto the dance floor at each wedding. This is quite a development because at all previous weddings I have attended, I never danced. You could not pull me from my chair. However, the first wedding Andrew and I attended as a couple, he told me that we were going to dance at least once. And when a slow song began to play, he asked me to dance and... well... I couldn't resist. We've made progress since then and this past wedding, we must have danced to 10 or so songs. Consequently, these events are much more fun for me than ever before - especially with Andrew by my side. He makes me feel like the prettiest girl in the world and treats me like a queen. When I am dancing with him, everybody else fades into the background and I hope for just one more song.

It's not just the wedding that is special for me. It's the weeks leading up to it too. Instead of shopping alone (which I hate to do) - Andrew has taken me to the Annapolis mall and stood by my side as I tried to find a dress. Most guys won't do that willingly. He's so sweet.

Here's to the best boyfriend in history. Salute.

Congratulations, S.E.M.F.

Isn't she adorable? Oh, and the baby too.

This picture made my heart glad, so I had to share (photo credit to Peter F.). I can't wait to meet little Elliot. Isn't Sarah a beautiful mother?
